Computer Free Use

The computer room is available for individual use on a first-come, first-serve basis. Staff may answer brief questions on basic computer operation and software use.

Computer Classes

A. Introduction to Computers - If you are new to computers and aren’t even sure how to turn one on, this is the class for you. Learn the parts of a computer, how to use a mouse, and some basic “windows” navigation skills.

B. Introduction to Microsoft Office - Examine each of the programs in Microsoft Office and learn the common commands these programs share.

C. The Internet - Learn what the Internet is and basic searching techniques to find information.
Discover advanced searching techniques, image searching, managing ‘Favorites’, and browser customization.

After School Program

Homework help, recreational and social enrichment. Ages 6-12

Teens

Socialization and recreational activities, for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18

Women’s Group

Social and discussion group for women.

Music & Dance

Dance, movement, and music classes.

English as a 2nd Language

Learn English as your second language through grammar work and conversation.

Yoga / Exercise

An introductory class, developing flexibility, strength, and body awareness.

Summer Programs

Educational, recreational, and artistic activities for ages 5-12. Summer Camp is available during summer months.

Special Topics

The community center will host several courses and trainings that range from parenting, vocational training, work readiness, and others.
