About Us
The Resident Services Consortium of D.C. (RSC) is non-profit entity made up of affordable housing developers and owners who are
dedicated to improving the quality of life for at-risk families by creating healthier and more sustainable affordable housing
communities. The goal is to provide housing-based resident services which help prevent homelessness, help families build assets and
help families move out of poverty. RSC seeks to empower residents by involving them in decision making and to encourage successful
tenancies by creating a platform of opportunity and stability where they live.
Currently, the consortium is comprised of four developer-owners of affordable housing:
- Somerset Development Company
- National Housing Trust-Enterprise (NHT-E)
- Transitional Housing Corporation (THC)
- Community Preservation Development Corporation (CPDC)
The Steering Committee is comprised of representatives of the four developers, as well as David Bowser and Deborah Stevenson of
Enterprise Community Partners, and Leslie Steen of Steen Consulting.
